Emily Putterman-Handler and Kimberly Ayoung are The Cobblettes. The Cobblettes is a collaboration that was formed out of a mutual love of shoes. Emily started out thinking that she would enjoy a career in industrial design, but quickly found that she was intrigued by how a shoe was made. And, Kim....well she just has a love of shoes that she is sure was passed down from her mother who had quite a few of them.
The Cobblettes would like to help you express your love of shoes through the art of shoemaking. We currently offer intensive two day beginner workshops, where you will learn to make a mule and sandalmaking workshops. You can cover your shoe in leather or fabric and adorn it with feathers and ribbons and buttons and buckles. Your imagination is your only limitation.
