Learn How to Make a Woman's Shoe

Cost: $895.00*
*includes the cost of materials (except for leather, trimmings, last and heels), use of tools. Additional cost of approximately $140.00 for outside labor. This will be collected at the end of the workshop if you wish The Cobblettes to have your shoes soled.
What to purchase:
1. last (shoe form in your size) 4. leather skin for shoe upper - Exotic skins are not appropriate.
2. heel (must fit the last) 5. kid skin for lining (if you plan to make your upper out of fabric
3. Shanks (must fit the last) then you must purchase pigskin for the lining
Items 1-3 may be purchased from Kaufman's Shoe Repair, 346 Lafayette Street, New York City. Their hours are 6am - 1pm, Sunday to Friday, closed Saturday. Please mention that you are Emily's student.
If, you are coming from out of town, we would be happy to purchase your supplies for you and you will reimburse at the workshop.
